Specialist Leaders of Education: Core Training
This one day 'core' training will enable participating SLEs to achieve accredited status, recognised by both the Department for Education and the Teaching Schools Council. SLEs who do not attend this training will not receive formal designation from Brooke Weston Teaching School Alliance.
Suitable for: Outstanding Teachers seeking designation as Specialist Leaders of Education (primary or secondary).

Aspirant SLE Training
This twilight session provides a structured overview of the eligibility requirements, alongside guidance on how you can effectively acquire the required levels of expertise and experience to become a system leader.
Suitable for: Outstanding Teachers seeking designation as Specialist Leaders of Education (primary or secondary).

School Improvement & the EIF
Course aim: To clarify the nature of the EIF and to consider how it might be used in their own school improvement work. This two part session will explore your burning questions, the background to the EIF, methodology and a tailored follow up surgery.

Suitable for: Headteachers, Senior Leaders and those with whole-school responsibility. We recommend that at least two members of SLT attends the session.

Subject Leadership Development
Course aim:
- To empower subject leaders.
- To enable subject leaders to lead their subject effectively.
- To clarify the most important aspects of subject leadership.
Delivered over 3 x 90 minute sessions, subject leaders will explore their roles and responsibilities and ways to confidently express how their leadership impacts and influences school development.
