Chloe said, ‘I adored my degree, in particular studying the overlapping topics of maths and physics. I am so excited to become a teacher because I love working with young people- they are refreshing, brutally honest and sometimes hilarious! I also feel that it’s so important that maths teachers help students achieve the absolute best that they can, and show every student that, with some hard work, they can excel in maths.

‘While living in York I ran a local Brownie pack and had some fantastic times there. While I’m not continuing to help at a pack this year, I would always be keen to get involved and help out any Brownies or Guides. In my first year of university I started practising ashtanga yoga, which is great for building strength and flexibility and also for calming the mind and de-stressing. I am also the newest member of the GBRT Flute Choir, which creates some beautiful music and put on fantastic concerts.

‘I can’t wait to get stuck in at Brooke Weston and feel privileged to be training in such a fantastic school.’
